Black Butte hosts a lively 4th of July parade each year, inviting families large and small, to decorate their two three and four wheeled vehicles in red, white and blue! Keep your eyes out for the Erving family yellow jeep!

Play a round of golf at Big Meadow Golf Course or Glaze Meadow Golf Course directly on the ranch! Call or visit the Black Butte Ranch website for tee-times. There is also a fun putting course at the Big Meadow Pro Shop.

Glaze Meadow Outdoor Pool

Glaze Meadow has both indoor and outdoor pools with a full spa and fitness gym. Bicycle rentals and tennis and pickleball courts are available.

You can't run out of things to do in Sisters, Oregon! It is an adorable old western town only 15 minutes from the ranch by car. Sisters has great restaurants and antique window shopping. There will be an awesome parade going through downtown on the morning of the 4th of July!

Suttle Lake Day Use Area

Suttle Lake is 15 minutes by car from the ranch and is a great place to camp out in the sun. They have a pretty lodge to sit down for a bite to eat or if you're looking for a good activity they have paddle board and canoe rentals!

Scout Lake is a quaint lake off of the same road as Suttle Lake. It is 20 minutes by car from the ranch and is a great place to escape the noise!
